Hello and welcome, I am Tina the owner of Tina Hughes Reflexology.
I live in Barton Seagrave which is located in Kettering Northamptonshire.
Caring for people and their well-being has always been a passionate part of my life, whether in my work life or being a mum in my personal life.
For over 16 years I have worked within the medical sector working in various roles, including a community carer for the elderly, working in a specialist outpatient’s centre, and nine years working for the NHS as a healthcare assistant.
I am also a qualified Cryolipolysis practitioner, so health and wellbeing has been a part of my life for many years. I also currently support palliative patients in a cancer hospice supporting them on their cancer journey and end of life with reflexology.
During my time in healthcare I have gained the skills, knowledge and confidence to help and support my clients with any concerns they may have about their health and wellbeing.
Being a busy mum running a business I know first-hand how busy and stressful life can get at times, I developed a love for reflexology straight after I was recommended to try a complimentary therapy by a friend, this was during a time when my wellbeing was low, Reflexology made some huge changes in my life, I was amazed by the results and how great it made me feel, still to this day I regularly have reflexology and couldn't recommend it enough.
I was curious to the science behind it and how it worked, this made me feel compelled to learn for myself and become a reflexologist.
I trained with The Temple Academy of Reflexology which took just under 2 years to complete, I had to complete 100 case studies and undertake full pathology assessment for each client, so I have been trained to the highest standard.
I am passionate about reflexology and its vast benefits.
Through my work and life experiences I have established a deep sense of understanding and compassion, this can been seen during the reflexology session.
